Low V.O.C. Emissions – York Contract wallcoverings are the only vinyl wallcoverings to be certified according to E.P.A. standards to be low in Volatile Organic Compound emissions relative to paint.

Energy Efficient – York Contract wallcoverings showed an increase in R-Value of up to 6% over paint according to independent thermal transmission test ASTM-C-518.

Sound Absorption – With a .10 N.R.C. rating, York Contract wallcoverings have shown a significant increase in sound absorbency when measured against paint.

Glare Reduction – York Contract wallcoverings show very low glare characteristics, and reflect significantly less light when tested against a leading brand of commercial semi-gloss paint.

Mildew Resistant – York Contract wallcoverings received the best rating achievable according to the federal government’s strict specifications.
