The York Design Studio turns a discerning eye and over 30 years of industry experience to the concept and creation of exciting textiles for the walls.

In the commercial world optimum strength and performance is king. With Stellar Walls™ it’s all about the yarn. Manufactured from solution dyed tape yarn, STELLAR WALLS™ are produced without PVC and PFAs, and meets Type II for ceiling and wall surfaces. Meticulously crafted to outdistance and outperform paint, they capture timeless beauty through innovative technology and responsible manufacturing.

FLAMMABILITY: 

Class A fire rated tested in accordance with ASTM E-84 Tunnel Test.

COLORFASTNESS: 

Solution-dyed to ensure colorfastness from cleaning products and light exposure.

ABRASION RESISTANCE:

100% polyethylene items exceed 500,00 Wyzenbeek double rubs (cotton duck).
Linen blend items meets or exceeds 30,000 double rubs (cotton duck).

PERFORMANCE:

Meets or exceeds type II for lightfastness, washability, scrubbability, breaking strength, crocking resistance, stain resistance, tear resistance, blocking resistance, cold cracking, heat aging and shrinkage. (most styles)
